The Foxtrot1 Suit was designed to protect personnel involved in searching for and clearance of explosive devices. Significantly lighter than the bomb suit this suit allows more mobility and unrestricted movement.

SOFT ARMOUR
National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard 0101.04 is the internationally accepted standard for Bullet Resistant Vests. The Standard has 4 levels applicable to soft armour as shown in the table below.
Maximum trauma allowed is 44mm, to be measured on the first strike only. The Shot pattern for handgun ammunition requires all shots to be at least 7.6cm from any edge and at least 5cm from each other. |
