Zebra Armour designs and manufactures exclusively in its own factories. Quality control and
reproducibility proven and tested in our new test and research facility guarantees the user that our
products consistently meet the standards against which they are designed.
Soft Armour Bullet Proof Vests are constructed from woven material such as DuPont Kevlar and Teijin Twaron
or non-woven materials like DSM Dyneema and Allied Signal Spectra.
SOFT ARMOUR
National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard 0101.04 is the internationally accepted standard for Bullet Resistant Vests. The Standard has 4 levels applicable to soft armour as shown in the table below.

Maximum trauma allowed is 44mm, to be measured on the first strike only.
The Shot pattern for handgun ammunition requires all shots to be at least 7.6cm from any edge and at least 5cm from each other.
